What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll support the day‑to‑day operation of HMRC’s cloud platforms, ensuring high levels of reliability, performance and security.
  • This includes monitoring systems, resolving incidents, improving platform performance, and driving automation to reduce manual effort.
  • You’ll also work closely with engineering teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code, and ensure platforms meet security and compliance standards.
  • You’ll help standardise processes, improve resilience, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across platform teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure operations, incident management and root cause analysis
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
