What You’ll Work On:
- Compliance Operational Insight & Risking (COIR) – building risk profiles and analytical products
- Preventative Risking – disrupting fraud before it enters the system
- Offshore – offshore intelligence and risk identification
- Data & Risking Service – automated data services and bespoke analysis
- Large Business Data Analytics – identifying tax risks across large businesses
- Data Analytics Team (DAT) – analysis and insight across populations to support decision‑making
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead analytical projects end‑to‑end (from defining the problem to delivering insight)
- Choose and assure the right analytical methods (statistics, modelling and coding approaches)
- Build reproducible, scalable analytical products (workflows, dashboards, models)
- Quality assure analysis and provide constructive feedback
- Embed good practice in data governance, documentation, testing and ethical use
- Present complex findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Build strong relationships to shape the right questions and deliver meaningful impact
- Support and develop colleagues, strengthening analytical capability across the team
What We’re Looking For:
- Delivering high‑quality analysis using statistical/analytical techniques
- Communicating complex findings clearly, including in challenging discussions
- Managing data projects effectively (planning, adapting ways of working, stakeholder updates)
- Developing coded analysis solutions in Python, R or Base SAS (with testing and documentation)
