About the role: We are looking for talented Product Managers to join five of our dynamic teams. You will shape product direction, make key decisions, and be a powerful advocate for users in some of the most impactful services in the UK. What skills, knowledge and experience you will need:
- Demonstrated experience working directly with users to understand their needs and make priority decisions that deliver value as early as possible.
- Strong track record of influencing internal and external stakeholders and confidently managing challenge.
- Experience leading a product end-to-end, setting clear goals and direction, and providing mentoring and coaching to support team success.
You and your role:
As a Product Manager, you will lead product development for a major service, programme, or organisational area—shaping vision, aligning teams, and delivering meaningful value for users.
We Have Five Opportunities Across:
- Debt: Products that manage different types of debt and how we collect it from users.
- Health & Disability: Services that support people needing financial help due to health conditions or disabilities.
- Corporate Services: Core systems and tools that enable colleagues to work effectively.
- Communication & Collaboration: Products within the Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, Office, Lists and Forms.
- Core Digital Services: Leading the rebuild of legacy services to better meet user needs.
We are looking for people who can bring a strong record of defining product vision and enabling teams to deliver high-quality, user-centred services. You will be confident in setting direction, clarifying outcomes and guiding multidisciplinary teams to achieve them. You also have experience developing product strategy and creating value driven roadmaps that take products from discovery through to delivery. Your approach and your decisions are rooted in user insight and evidence-based design, ensuring that services are accessible, effective, and truly meet user needs.

Location: You will join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield—whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model—you will spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay from £57,946 - £68,205.
Pension: You will get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £19,759 per year.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You will also get all the usual public holidays.
