About The Role
Working closely with the Head of Product Management, you’ll design and embed consistent product practices across dozens of teams. This isn’t about owning one product, it’s about shaping how product management works across the whole organisation, helping teams operate more effectively, make better decisions, and deliver stronger outcomes for users.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Defining and evolving what great product management looks like across HMRC
- Influencing senior stakeholders to adopt consistent, user‑centred ways of working
- Strengthening product management standards, guidance and best practice
- Supporting and growing the Product Management community across HMRC
- Coaching Product Managers and teams through workshops, mentoring and learning sessions
- Using data and insights to assess maturity and drive continuous improvement
- Ensuring teams have access to the right tools, training and support
- Helping shape organisational decisions to embed product‑led approaches
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience operating at organisational or enterprise scale
- Deep understanding of product management, ideally with hands‑on delivery experience
