As a Lead Enterprise Architect, you’ll help set the strategic direction for DVSA’s business and digital capabilities, influencing how services, technology, processes and operating models evolve together. This is a senior, visible role within DVSA’s Architecture Management Office, working alongside Lead Enterprise, Technical and Solution Architects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and guide enterprise‑level architecture across business and digital capabilities
  • Design and communicate high‑level structures that shape future services, processes, organisations and operating models
  • Support new digital transformation initiatives, including business case development
  • Help teams turn strategy into clear, actionable architectural roadmaps
  • Assess societal, policy and industry trends, and ensure DVSA’s architecture is ready for what’s next
  • Work beyond organisational boundaries to inform policies, strategies and standards
  • Anticipate policy change and build architectural resilience into the organisation
  • Coach and support others to recognise and respond to emerging trends
