About The Role

Immigration Enforcement is undergoing a major multi-year transformation, with technology and productivity at the core of how future services will operate. In this senior leadership role, you’ll be responsible for driving this agenda forward, shaping how digital, data and operational processes come together to deliver better outcomes. You’ll lead a large, multidisciplinary team and oversee significant investment to modernise infrastructure, improve workflows and embed emerging technologies. Working closely with senior leaders across government, you’ll turn strategy into delivery and ensure transformation delivers measurable, lasting impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading a team of around 50 professionals across technology and transformation
  • Overseeing a major transformation portfolio with significant investment
  • Driving the delivery of the Home Office 2030 Digital Strategy within Immigration Enforcement
  • Modernising digital infrastructure and redesigning operational workflows
  • Leading the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and advanced data sharing
  • Operating at board level, advising senior leaders and shaping strategic direction
  • Collaborating across government (including MoJ, policing, FCDO and wider partners)
  • Translating complex strategy into clear, impactful delivery outcomes
  • Building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
