About The Role

You’ll be part of the Service Standard and Service Manual team, helping set the standards for how great public services are designed and delivered. Working with experts across government, you’ll improve guidance, shape best practice, and make sure teams have what they need to build services that truly work for users.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating and improving clear, user-centred content and guidance
  • Using data, analytics and user research to inform content decisions
  • Designing content plans and writing user stories
  • Publishing and managing content using content management systems
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure content is accurate and effective
  • Supporting content strategies and helping improve ways of working
  • Contributing to the wider GDS and cross‑government content community
