As our current inclusion base lead moves on to a role in a specialist setting, we are looking to recruit our next teacher and leader of 'the Nest'.
In this role, you will teach in the base and oversee the learning of all of the children who access it. You'll lead the team of expert staff and drive the continual improvement of provision.
As assistant SENDCo, you will be responsible for the referrals and reviews pertaining to the pupils in the inclusion base, with release time from teaching to fulfil this role.
Manchester Communication Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure for a Regulated Activity via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
