Capital Programmes and Procurement require a suitably qualified Framework Manager to join the Northwest Construction Hub framework team. The role will be responsible for assisting with the framework call-off process, quality check of procurement documents, and ensuring quality customer focused services are delivered within performance and quality targets.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be primarily responsible for managing and advising the frameworks and advising on the tendering process.
  • They will be client facing and engaging with internal and external clients across Northwest region in achieving “value for money,” positive economic and environmental impact through the development, introduction of the framework management of processes.
  • You will have excellent communication, financial, and commissioning skills and will also excel in people management, planning and organising, resolving problems, and making effective decisions.
  • Additionally, you will have experience of working in the construction industry and be interested in framework / procurement management and stakeholder engagement and management in this sector.
  • An interest in partnership working within the construction industry as well as knowledge of sustainability / carbon reduction and bio-diversity agendas and processes are key.
  • The successful applicant will also require demonstrable quantity surveying / procurement management work experience and be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a construction / procurement or sustainability related discipline.
  • You should be able to demonstrate a commercial approach and be numerate and analytical - particularly being able to translate raw data into useful information.
  • An awareness or understanding of the Government Construction Strategy 2025, the Social Value Act 2021 and Regional Social Value Policy are also required.
