We are seeking a creative, resilient and driven Community & Marketing Officer to join our team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA). This role is a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference helping to reshape how the school connects with its community, communicates its vision, and supports ongoing improvement. This is a full time, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks. The starting salary is £29,238 and the full time equivalent is £33,143 Grade 6.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading delivery of the school’s marketing and communications strategy
- Designing engaging, high-quality content across print and digital platforms
- Managing the school’s website, social media and publications
- Promoting events and strengthening parent and community engagement
- Building partnerships with local organisations and stakeholders
- Showcasing progress, student experiences and school developments
Essential technical expertise:
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign essential – including mail merges)
- Premiere Pro (video editing)
- Canva
- Excel
You’ll also bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for a range of audiences
- Experience delivering creative, multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print and social platforms
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Confidence building positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider community
