Based in Manchester, this casual role supports the Academy transport programme by safely moving players and, where required, staff between their homes, schools, training venues, match locations and other approved destinations.

The Role

This role is central to the smooth running of Academy transport.

You will help ensure players, staff and other authorised passengers travel safely, on time and in line with the standards expected across Manchester City, making sure every journey is delivered with care, professionalism and respect.

Your day-to-day work will include following approved routes and transport instructions, carrying out vehicle checks, keeping the vehicle clean and presentable, using satellite navigation and journey-planning systems, and completing the administrative tasks that help keep operations organised.

The work is varied and can include early starts, evenings, weekends and matchday travel depending on the Academy schedule.

You will also work closely with colleagues, families, players and visitors, sharing updates clearly, reporting delays or incidents promptly and following safeguarding, health and safety and transport procedures at all times.

In doing so, you will help create a reliable service that supports the Academy environment and the young people who rely on it.
