Reporting directly to the Hospitality and Event Manager, this role is working on a full time, permanent basis. Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the café, ensuring exceptional customer service, food quality and operational efficiency.
- Leading, motivating and developing the café team through effective supervision, training and scheduling.
- Managing stock control, ordering, cash handling, POS systems and reporting on sales and operational performance.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety and health and safety compliance, while supporting promotional activity and events to drive revenue.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience of stock control, financial management and using café management or POS systems.
You must:
- Hold a Food Safety Level 2 qualification and have a good understanding of HACCP principles.
- Be passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and maintaining high standards.
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make confident decisions under pressure.
- Be flexible to work a range of shifts, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings during peak periods.
