About The Role:

Days of Working: This position is based at Highfields & Pennfield School, Wolverhampton, working Monday - Friday 8am - 16.00pm.

Are you ready to bring your expertise in electrical systems to a dynamic team? Join us as an Electrical Engineer and be part of a company that values your skills and professional growth.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide electrical support to management, to include, PPM, Reactive works, Statutory testing of electrical systems EML, DB’s etc.
  • Keep up to date registers of all request and external data for records and reference.
  • Provide ad hoc duties reasonably requested by management.
  • Adhere to company policies at all times.
  • Maintain health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH Certificate would be desirable however training will be given.
  • Membership, appropriate trade qualifications and recognition.
  • IT Literate, MS Office/competent in the use of Excel, Power point.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
  • The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)
  • Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.
  • UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
