Responsibilities:

  • Installing, maintaining and repairing pipes, joints, valves, drains and fixtures in commercial properties.
  • Responding to plumbing emergencies, determining the issue and performing repairs.
  • Performing regular planned maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Assisting with cleaning and chlorination of hot and cold-water systems.
  • CWST inspections and maintenance.
  • Maintenance and servicing of TMVs.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • A UK recognised Plumbing Qualification
  • Domestic Gas qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Water Regulations/Byelaws
  • Basic IT skills (able to use a phone/tablet to record information, take photos, etc.)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Organised – able to manage own paperwork
  • Flexible

Desirable skills and qualifications:

  • Experience of Water Hygiene Regulations
  • Experience of working in commercial properties
  • Health and Safety Training
  • Good communication skills – able to liaise with clients and colleagues
