About The Role:
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial buildings and associated plant equipment.
- Conducting routine servicing, inspections, and testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive repairs to minimise downtime and disruption to clients.
- Working on a range of commercial heating systems and AC equipment
- Identifying potential issues before they become major failures and recommending remedial works where necessary.
- Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs in a professional and timely manner.
- Completing detailed service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation using electronic or paper-based systems.
- Carrying out HVAC reactive works, mechanical faults and general maintenance repairs
Qualifications Required:
- NVQ Level 3 in Heating, Ventilation, Mechanical Engineering (HVAC) or equivalent (essential)
- F-Gas Category 1 (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (desirable)
Experience Required:
- Air Conditioning experience (essential)
- Previous facilities management or building services experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, AHUs and commercial heating plant
- Excellent mechanical and HVAC fault-finding skills
