About The Role

Days of Working: Saturday and Sunday 12PM TO 6PM

Key Responsibilities

  • The preparation, cooking, presentation and service of meals to the highest possible standards.
  • Provide food that complies with national nutritional policies and food hygiene standards.
  • Ensure timely plating and delivery to patient areas.
  • Contributes to the implementation of service developments i.e. new menus, production systems.
  • Submit requisitions for additional foods stores depending upon demand.

Qualifications

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
  • Qualified Cook to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 standard and Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Knowledge and experience across a broad range of cooking methods, recipe formulation and service requirements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HACCP & COSHH acquired over time with training.
  • Intimate knowledge of Fire Safety as applied in the kitchen setting.
  • Allergen qualification/training.
