About The Role
Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:30
Key Responsibilities
- General painting and decorating works on a planned, reactive and project basis.
- Redecoration works as part of refurbishment of client premises.
- External paintwork of windows, doors and surfaces.
- Ability to proactively identify, measure and quote works.
- All other aspects of decoration within building refurbishment works including plastering and AMES taping.
- General building repairs within government offices.
- Working as part of a team in complete refurbishment/installation works including doors, door sets, window frames, staircases, stud partitions, ceilings.
- Make and fit interiors in offices and public facing areas.
- Undertake supervision of sub-contractors or Arthur McKay site labour as appropriate.
- Provide support to other in-house trades or complete other trade tasks where deemed competent including minor plumbing repairs, tiling, painting and decorating and wet trades.
- To undertake reactive service works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames ensuring client expectations are met.
- Provide detailed reports upon completion of works including breakdown processes, hours and materials of works to allow for accurate valuation.
Key Hiring Criteria
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Painting and Decorating / City and Guilds equivalent within building trade.
- CSCS Skills card.
- PASMA.
- SSSTS or SMSTS is preferred.
- Previous experience working within FM environment.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
