About The Role

Due to continued success and expansion within our OCS Energy Services Division, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Electrical Project Manager to join our team. You should have a strong track record of delivering projects; experience in the High Voltage and Low Voltage Infrastructure sector is essential.

  • To be responsible for the delivery of Electrical project installations on time and within budget, whilst exceeding customer expectations.
  • To oversee members of staff and sub-contractors on-site, including day to day support, continual training and to effectively resolve any issues that may arise.
  • To play an active part in progress meetings with key stakeholders and customers.
  • To ensure that any Electrical Infrastructure systems are properly installed and commissioned.
  • Provide front end design & preconstruction management where required.
  • To maintain a good, professional working relationship with customers, keeping them updated throughout the duration of the project.
  • Assist in client relationship development.
  • A commitment to adhere to the OCS Group’s health and safety policies and procedures and enforce this where necessary.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in High Voltage /Low Voltage Systems, ICP, DNO, IDNO & Private networks.
  • An understanding of electrical installation methods, industry standards, and current market pricing.
  • Experience and understanding in managing design and build projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding.
  • Delivery of projects as project lead where we are acting principal contracting preferable.
  • Proven track record of managing a team and successfully delivering Electrical Infrastructure project installations.
  • Prepare Contract Documents i.e. Construction Programmes, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, RFI’s, Technical Submissions, Project Handover etc.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical works and in-depth knowledge of the construction process.
  • Prepare handover documents i.e. O&M Manuals and Record Drawings.
  • Health and safety on site management.
  • Zero defects attitude.
  • Flexibility to travel, working between main office and site based.
