About The Role
Days of Working: 4 nights on, 4 nights off
We are seeking an experienced and professional Security Supervisor to lead and support our security team. In this role, you will ensure that all security duties are carried out efficiently, maintain a visible security presence, and act as the first point of escalation for incidents across assigned sites.
Key Responsibilities
- All Supervisors are responsible and accountable for the shift they are supervising.
- Ensure that the Control Room is always staffed and in a polite and professional manner.
- Monitor Radio Communications to ensure that all messages are brief and relevant.
- Ensure that all emails are actioned and responded to.
- Ensure that all outstanding Temporary Cards are deactivated, and Keys notified to the oncoming shift.
- Complete Handover and ensure all instructions for the next shift are passed on.
- Ensure all patrols are completed fully and not rushed.
- Ensure all locker resets are done.
- Ensure that all Faults are reported as soon as possible following the OOH Process.
- Ensure that all incident reports are completed before end of shift.
- Ensure that all coning requests are completed as per handover or diary entry.
- Ensure all New, Support & Agency Officers receive full training as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence.
- Proven experience in security with a supervisory or leadership background.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
- Excellent report writing skills and computer literacy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Additional Requirements
All successful applicants will be required to undergo screening and vetting in line with BS7858 standards.
