About The Role
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- To manage the operational activities of the Aviation PRM Team.
- To assist in maintaining staff discipline, including disciplinary issues and conformance with OCS Company and Local Airport Authority regulations, including uniform standards and H & S regulations.
- To ensure all equipment & vehicles are maintained in proper working order.
- To complete reports as and when required and maintain a handover/log.
- To monitor the deployment of staff to ensure best possible utilisation of labour against daily demand for assistance, in line with forecast.
- To identify the training requirements of Movement Controllers, Team Leaders, Supervisors, Drivers, Customer Care Agents, Temporary / Casual staff to ensure they can take full responsibility for their areas of work and are fully conversant with the Safe Systems of Work.
- To ensure training records are fully and accurately kept either by yourself, a Trainer, or designated persons.
- To ensure the work and relevant documentation is completed in such a manner as to enable accurate charging to be made at all times.
- Regularly walk the job to evaluate workplace atmosphere and operational performance.
- Hold appraisal meetings and ensure all staff receive relevant training and performance development.
- Conduct Movement Controller and Team Briefings as per site agreement.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
- Will need to pass pre‑employment screening, including 5 years of employee reference checking.
- Demonstrable management experience operating within a similar service sector environment (essential).
- Proven track record in delivering effective customer service whilst maintaining appropriate operating margins (essential).
- Previous experience of leading a large, diverse workforce (essential).
- Working knowledge of industry practices (essential).
- IOSH desirable.
- Successful candidate will be required to undergo vetting checks.
