Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out remedial electrical works following Fixed Wire Testing/ EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports). This may include:
    • Distribution Board Replacements
    • Partial Re-wires
    • Accessory Replacements
    • Installing / Upgrading containment
    • General Upgrades
    • Fault Finding
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and company standards.
  • Complete and submit accurate electrical certification and job reports.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with the Fixed Wire Testing Team to ensure the timely completion of remedial tasks.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and customer service at all times.

Essential Hiring Criteria

  • Experience in electrical remedial works (Desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety, and industry best practice.
  • Excellent communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Must have strong IT literacy.
  • Competent in completing electrical certification.
  • IPAF (Desirable)
  • PASMA (Desirable)

Essential Qualifications

  • A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
  • The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)
  • Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.
