We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification in electrical installation, maintenance and repair. You will work alongside qualified electricians to develop the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in domestic, commercial, or industrial settings
- Support qualified electricians on-site and follow instructions carefully
- Learn to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical diagrams
- Help with inspection and testing of electrical systems
- Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly
- Follow health & safety regulations at all times
- Keep work areas clean and organised
Training & Development
- Attend college or training provider as required (e.g. working towards Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification)
- Gain practical on-the-job experience
- Work towards industry-recognised certifications such as SVQ Level 3 / SCQF level 7
Requirements
- A genuine interest in electrical work and engineering
- Good school level of education ideally including Maths and English
- Good practical skills and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health & safety practices (preferred but not essential)

- Basic IT skills
- Previous experience in construction or manual work (advantageous but not required)
