About The Role:

Region: Based out of Manchester office - responsible for projects in North England, Scotland & Ireland

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 & Friday 08:00-15:30

A Senior Project Manager will be a solution driven individual that can demonstrate a willingness to engage, drive and complete projects and where required understand and seek the necessary support to drive these projects to completion. These projects will be varied in size, scope, and complexity and this requires a flexible approach with a "can do" mindset.

Frameworks Division has a healthy pipeline of projects via our multiple client frameworks such as Home Office, Scottish Power and Scottish Water.

The individual must be able to demonstrate a varied background of successfully delivering construction projects and have a background in either Electrical, Mechanical or Building Fabric (or a mixed variety of all).

This individual will be responsible for the delivery of multidisciplinary projects across HVAC, M&E and Fit-Out/Building Fabric elements within live operational buildings specific to our client base which includes:

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years' experience carrying out project delivery of this nature.
  • Mechanical, Electrical or Building Fabric experience is essential
  • Experience in office refurbishment / fit out projects up to Β£5m
  • Current position as a Project Manager looking to advance in career
  • Self-motivated person / absolute ability to work on own initiative and recognise the need for assistance and resource planning
  • Ability to develop, manage and empower a team
  • Deadline driven and committed to the same
  • Committed to personnel and team development and progression
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and Powerpoint
  • Ability to develop and manage a construction programme throughout the project lifespan

Client facing

  • Liaising and working in conjunction with the potential for numerous client/stakeholders and their various perspectives, throughout all aspects of the project. Thus, having an empathetic view of client needs.
  • Developing client's requirements to produce a project specific proposal, fundamentally answering the client's scope ask.
  • Managing project specific costs to meet the client budget and programme.
  • Agreeing measurable KPI's for each project.
  • Ensure client satisfaction.

Resource Management

  • Management of and development of project teams.
  • Effectively manage staff/labour under their control to maximise efficiencies.
  • Empower our employees with targets and goals to maximise their and OCS potential.
  • Control of supply chain partners.
  • Contract mobilisation and operational support.
