About The Role:

Working in our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts in our continually expanding division.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
  2. Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness, and contract profitability, supporting the delivery of services.
  3. Support the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  4. Provide on-call cover on average 1 in 8 weeks.
  5. Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance as required and respond to breakdowns promptly.
  6. Perform building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery, and other maintenance tasks.
  7. Assist the maintenance team with other facilities work as needed.
  8. Provide quotations for recommended works.
  9. Ensure a safe system of work is followed before starting work activities.
  10. Carry out work activities properly and keep sites to high standards.
  11. Provide general handyman services, including L8 compliance.
  12. Liaise with subcontractors, cleaners, and security to ensure effective site management.
  13. Respond to callouts for the client, on average 1 in 4 weeks.
  14. Be a time-served Fabric engineer with a maintenance background and skills in carpentry, painting, decorating, door hanging, and other repairs.
  15. Hold L8 ACOP, CSCS Skills card or equivalent, and First Aid certification.
  16. Possess a current, valid driving license.
  17. Be IT literate with basic knowledge of Excel and Microsoft products.
  18. All travel expenses paid, with a 30-minute deduction each way.
  19. Company tools and van provided, along with uniform and PPE.
  20. Provide a tablet and phone.
