About The Role:
Working in our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts in our continually expanding division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
- Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness, and contract profitability, supporting the delivery of services.
- Support the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide on-call cover on average 1 in 8 weeks.
- Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance as required and respond to breakdowns promptly.
- Perform building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery, and other maintenance tasks.
- Assist the maintenance team with other facilities work as needed.
- Provide quotations for recommended works.
- Ensure a safe system of work is followed before starting work activities.
- Carry out work activities properly and keep sites to high standards.
- Provide general handyman services, including L8 compliance.
- Liaise with subcontractors, cleaners, and security to ensure effective site management.
- Respond to callouts for the client, on average 1 in 4 weeks.
- Be a time-served Fabric engineer with a maintenance background and skills in carpentry, painting, decorating, door hanging, and other repairs.
- Hold L8 ACOP, CSCS Skills card or equivalent, and First Aid certification.
- Possess a current, valid driving license.
- Be IT literate with basic knowledge of Excel and Microsoft products.
- All travel expenses paid, with a 30-minute deduction each way.
- Company tools and van provided, along with uniform and PPE.
- Provide a tablet and phone.
