About The Role: Walking Round using Public Transport Via OYSTER CARD. Some jobs are close so can walk to the next one. Need to be at first job for 06.00. Specialist Window Cleaning (SWC), part of the OCS Group, are currently recruiting for a Window Cleaning Operative to join our passionate and driven team.
Key responsibilities:
- To carry out works scheduled by the supervisor or line manager in a timely, safe manner.
- Be aware of the condition of the equipment to ensure that all equipment is in safe working order, checked regularly and serviced.
- Report any faults to supervisor/management.
- Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
- Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards e.g., blocked/locked fire doors.
- Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if possible.
- Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities to the Line Manager/supervisor.
You will meet the following criteria:
- Must have right to work in the UK.
- You must hold a full UK Driving License.
- You will have experience in window cleaning and ideally in working at heights and high buildings.
- You must have the ability to work well on your own, be self-sufficient and motivated whilst also being comfortable working as part of a team and following instruction.
- A professional attitude.
