About The Role

Days of Working: This is a mobile, multi-site role, requiring flexibility to support operational needs around Lincolnshire. Shift times require flexibility to meet the needs of the contract. The candidate will typically be able to choose to work mornings (4am-9am) or evenings (5pm-10pm) but will occasionally be required to alternate and occasionally be required to work in the afternoon. There may be some weekend work but this is very rare and is paid at a higher rate.

Additional Information: Mobile cleaner working across 45 different sites located throughout Lincolnshire. Company van provided plus fuel card. Company phone provided.

Duties to include cover cleaning in a range of building types including offices, clinics and mental health provision services. Use of machinery including buffer and carpet shampooer. Delivering stock. Must be physically fit and in good health. All training provided and extensive induction due to scope of locations.

As a Mobile Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our clients, colleagues and visitors across OCS sites. You will deliver high standards of cleaning and hygiene in line with agreed specifications, health & safety requirements and company values.

This role is responsible for carrying out day-to-day cleaning activities, ensuring that all assigned areas are kept to a consistently high standard, while providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel between multiple client sites within an assigned area to deliver cleaning services as required
  • Ensure all sites receive cleaning services in line with agreed specifications and schedules
  • Safely transport and manage cleaning equipment, materials and supplies between locations
  • Carry out deep cleans, cover absences, or respond to short-notice requirements where needed
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or site concerns promptly
  • Adapt to different environments, layouts and client requirements across sites
  • Carry out basic equipment checks and report any faults or shortages
  • Represent OCS professionally when working independently across client locations
  • Comply with all lone working, health & safety and company procedures at all times

Qualifications:

  • Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel and work across different sites and shift patterns
  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, public sector or similar environment (desirable but not essential)
  • A good understanding of cleaning methods, equipment and materials
  • Awareness of health & safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a pride in delivering high standards
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures effectively

Desirable:

  • Experience working within Facilities Management or contracted cleaning services
  • Knowledge of COSHH or safe use of cleaning chemicals (training can be provided)
