About The Role:
Due to the continued growth of OCS, we are recruiting a Security Manager to oversee operations for a specific customer and site. This role is a key position, responsible for leading the security team, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the on-site security team, ensuring effective delivery of all security operations.
- Oversee staff rotas, payroll queries, and the Timegate system.
- Manage recruitment, agency cover, holidays, sickness, and staff welfare.
- Conduct monthly 1-to-1s, team meetings, and training sessions.
- Handle HR matters, compliance, and health & safety requirements.
- Maintain SOPs, KPI reporting, and oversee fire system checks and evacuation drills.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants, the client, and the Operations Manager.
Key Hiring Criteria
- Valid SIA Licence (MG required; DS and CCTV preferred).
- IOSH qualification desirable.
- Previous management/security industry experience (large site experience preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Office; Timegate experience desirable).
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
