About the Role

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 11:30am‑7.30pm and Friday 7.30am‑2.30pm. Additional Weekend Overtime at Premium Rate available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitising all preparation and storage areas, kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens, and grills.
  • Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment and ensuring all cookware, utensils, and cutlery are clean and ready for service.
  • Receiving, unpacking deliveries and checking delivery against orders, highlighting any discrepancies to site manager.
  • Ensuring the food and supply storage areas are organised.
  • Removing rubbish and emptying bins, waste, and recycling in the kitchen.
  • Assisting with food preparation when needed.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Commercial kitchen experience is highly valued but not essential.
  • Possession of a basic Catering and Hospitality certificate such as Food Handling, or equivalent; can be provided if not held.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods due to the physical nature of the job.

Ideal Candidate Criteria

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • City & Guilds certification, BTEC, or NVQ at a basic level required.
  • Completion of food hygiene course at Level 2 desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills essential.
  • Good time‑management and organisational abilities.
