About The Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical systems.
  • Install, test, inspect and certify electrical installations in accordance with current regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults to ensure maximum equipment reliability and performance.
  • Complete maintenance records, work orders and reports accurately.
  • Support HVAC, LV distribution and standby power systems maintenance.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota and work safely under permit‑to‑work systems.
  • Build strong relationships with clients while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and GMP standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and provide value‑for‑money engineering solutions.
Essential Criteria
  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2391 / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Experience in planned and reactive maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.
  • Experience installing, testing and maintaining LV electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work and permit‑to‑work procedures.
  • Good fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
