About The Role
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical systems.
- Install, test, inspect and certify electrical installations in accordance with current regulations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to ensure maximum equipment reliability and performance.
- Complete maintenance records, work orders and reports accurately.
- Support HVAC, LV distribution and standby power systems maintenance.
- Participate in the on‑call rota and work safely under permit‑to‑work systems.
- Build strong relationships with clients while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and GMP standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and provide value‑for‑money engineering solutions.
- Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2391 / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience in planned and reactive maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.
- Experience installing, testing and maintaining LV electrical systems.
- Knowledge of safe systems of work and permit‑to‑work procedures.
- Good fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- Strong customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
