Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for Graphic Designer to join our passionate and driven bid team based at our Office in Ipswich.
We’re seeking an individual with creativity and the ability to craft at the highest level. You love typography and enjoy discussing the nuances of kerning and leading as much as you do page layouts, margins and the onset of AI-aided design.
Captivating (and motivating) target audiences through effective design is augmented by accuracy and consistency, which are fundamental requirements for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with bid managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to understand bid requirements and develop design concepts that align with OCS branding guidelines and customers’ expectations.
- Design and produce a wide range of bid support materials, including but not limited to proposal templates, presentations, infographics, charts, diagrams, and digital assets.
- Translate technical information and data into visually appealing graphics and illustrations that effectively convey key messages and differentiate OCS from competitors.
- Ensure consistency in design elements, typography, and imagery across all bid collateral, maintaining high quality and professionalism.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in a bid support or proposal development role within the facilities services or related industry.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality design work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of print and digital production processes, including file preparation and optimisation for various output formats.
