Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed take-offs from tender documentation.
  • Send out enquiries for materials and specialist sub-contractor packages.
  • Create and complete tender upon Estimating software.
  • Review tender Control sheet with line manager.
  • Submission of tender to client with all tender deliverables.
  • Contribute to the submission document and contract documentation.
  • Support Value Engineering exercises and target costs.

Essential Hiring Criteria

  • Prior experience in the Building Services sector, whether from an operational or formal estimating background.
  • Professional or Trade related vocational qualification – HNC/HND in Building services or Apprenticeship.
  • Competent in the use of Trimble Estimation software system.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence.
