About The Role: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in commercial gas, HVAC, air conditioning and refrigeration who enjoys a varied mobile role across commercial properties.
The role:
- Salary up to £50,000
- Additional earnings of up to £1,500 for supporting gas auditing, with an LCL gas auditing qualification provided
- Company van and fuel card
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Overtime opportunities
- Planned and reactive maintenance across commercial client sites
- Servicing and repairing HVAC, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
- Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, pumps, boilers and associated mechanical equipment
- Refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance
- Fault-finding, repairs and minor installation works
- Completing statutory inspections and compliance documentation
Essential requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Heating, Ventilation, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or equivalent
- ACS Commercial Gas qualifications, including COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, CDGA1 and TPCP1/1A, or equivalent
- F-Gas Category 1 certification
- Previous facilities management or building services experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, AHUs and commercial heating plant
- Excellent mechanical and HVAC fault-finding skills
- CSCS card or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
