About the Role
Working Pattern: 21:30-6:00, Sun-Thur.
We are currently recruiting for a Food Hygiene Supervisor to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with conducting COSHH assessments, risk assessments, document safe systems of work for all hygiene tasks, and issues followed up.
- Help in delivering continuous improvements of processes and procedures within the Hygiene department to ensure on-going efficiencies and cost savings can be identified and met.
- Identify any Health and Safety issues within the area/team, maintaining a focus on risk reduction.
- Record and investigate accidents/incidents and report to the site Manager.
- Conduct hygiene audits in relation to Health & Safety, GMP and Finished Standards.
- Ensuring all internal audits are completed including any actions relating to: Quality, Chemical usage, Titration checks, Overtime Tracker/Headcount, KPI (Data collection), Stores Usage, Swabbing denitrification/residual chemical, Water Usage.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- You must have Right to Work in the UK.
- You will have experience working in Quality Assurance.
- Clear understanding of HACCP, COSHH, QA & Management Procedures.
- Operational Experience within a Food Manufacturing setting.
- Experience in managing budgets.
- Proven record of continuous improvement and change management.
- Proficient computer skills (all aspects of Microsoft Office).
- Demonstrable leadership skills with a proven record of developing and coaching high-performance teams.
