About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to carry out joinery and carpentry tasks.
- Assist with the fabrication, installation, and assembly of timber structures and components.
- Carry out works including stud partitions, skirting, ceilings, insulation, floor laying, and door installations.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Follow all health & safety procedures when handling tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times.
Candidate Essentials
- National 5 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Basic understanding of building principles particularly in joinery
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and keen to learn
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Attend college as and when required
