About The Role: This role sits within our Technical Services division that provides services on contracts throughout the Scotland region. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of fire risk assessment programme across over 200 facilities.
- Oversight of the Fire Management online software package.
- Reporting of fire risk assessment outcomes, remedial findings, and task status.
- Conduct quality checks on completed inspections and works.
- Co‑ordinate, schedule and prepare documentation for fire risk assessment inspections.
- Appointed Person for all fire management contract deliverables.
- Oversight of bespoke safety management programmes.
- Monitor and report on the health and safety matters within the contract.
- Carry out H&S auditing of client’s facilities, OCS engineers and supply chain partners.
- Advise senior and operational managers of the effectiveness of H&S procedures.
- Auditing engineering and sub‑contractor works and ensuring outcomes are reported and advice issued for effective resolution.
- Ensure the programme of required immunisations is implemented where required.
- Support the wider delivery teams in training, learning and development.
Key Hiring Criteria:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be subject to passing client security checks.
- Must hold NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion Technician status with recognised bodies – IFSM/IFPO/IFE would be preferred.
- Thorough up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation and best practice.
- Experience of working within high secure facilities such as police, fire, prison, or courts advantageous.
- Hold a full driving license.
- Experience in using CAFM or other management systems.
