About The Role
Shift Pattern: Monday 12:30-22:30, Tuesday 12:30-22:30, Saturday 6:00-12:30 and Sunday 7:00-13:00
We are looking for a multi‑skilled security officer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will ensure the safety and security of our customers, retailers and staff. You will achieve this by conducting regular patrols, completing reactive and scheduled cleaning tasks and responding to incidents on the estate. This role requires a Security and CCTV SIA License along with the willingness to clean and get involved.
Main Responsibilities
- Patrolling the site to ensure safety, security and cleanliness
- Advising and assisting retailers where necessary
- Daily general cleaning of the site, involving the use of cleaning machinery
- Reviewing CCTV
- Ensuring all daily tasks are completed within deadline requirements
Health & Safety Accountabilities
- Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas and that morale remains high
- Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues
- Maintain personal H&S competence and skill level, i.e. attend Managing Safety programme and other company safety events
- Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose
The Ideal Candidate should meet the following criteria
- Front line security experience
- SIA Qualification for security and CCTV
- Confidence within independent working
- Comfortable working in all weathers
