About The Role: Shift Pattern: This consists of early shifts (4E) 7am - 6pm, and late shifts (4L) 10am - 9pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure all reactive maintenance, unplanned works, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) are completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
- Allocate PPM tasks to Facilities Maintenance Technicians across the year, ensuring work is completed professionally and to required standards.
- Ensure all safety checks on attractions and assets are carried out in line with manufacturer recommendations, ADIPS, and HSG175 requirements.
- Support the line manager by assisting with audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Carry out training and quality audits for team members to ensure consistent standards and workmanship.
- Support people management activities, including return-to-work meetings, 1-2-1s, PDPs, and associated documentation.
- Assist the line manager with performance management, helping to promote a positive team culture and strong work ethic.
- Coordinate and manage external contractors when required, keeping the line manager informed.
- Maintain strong working relationships with other departments, acting as a key point of contact and supporting operations when needed.
- Represent the Facilities department at internal management meetings and external meetings as appropriate.
- Maintain clear communication with other Facilities Shift Coordinators to ensure smooth handovers and continuity.
- Use the asset management system (Evolution) to manage work orders, planning, and compliance documentation accurately.
Person Specification
- Proven experience within a Facilities Maintenance or Construction environment, with strong knowledge of facilities processes and procedures.
- Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant multi-trade discipline, with experience in a comparable maintenance environment (ideally theme park, leisure, or complex operational setting).
- Multi-skilled / multi-trade background is essential, supported by a recognised trade qualification and additional relevant certifications.
- Experience working at a supervisory or coordination level, with confidence in allocating work, monitoring progress, and maintaining standards.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work effectively to meet strict timescales.
- Comfortable completing and managing statutory and compliance paperwork, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of UK health & safety legislation and facilities-related regulations, or the ability to quickly build this knowledge.
- Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with technicians, managers, contractors, guests, and other stakeholders.
- Proactive, professional, and aligned with the values and expectations of OCS.
