About The Role:

Role Overview

As Workspace Support, you’ll help deliver a professional, welcoming and well-managed workplace for colleagues, contractors and visitors at the site of a leading broadcasting and media company.

You’ll support the day-to-day operation of the building, ensuring workplace standards are maintained and facilities issues are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet visitors and contractors, providing a professional customer experience.
  • Act as an ambassador for OCS and the customer.
  • Carry out contractor inductions and provide relevant health, safety and site information.
  • Coordinate and escort contractors where required.
  • Work with the Helpdesk and engineering teams to coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Issue visitor passes and support access arrangements where required.
  • Act as a key contact for the Facilities Management team, providing updates on site issues.
  • Work with other FM teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Respond to facilities queries in person, by telephone and email.
  • Log and monitor Helpdesk requests through to completion, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Conduct site audits covering health and safety, fire routes, first aid, cleanliness and workplace standards.
  • Identify and report health and safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain signage, noticeboards and communal areas to a high standard.
  • Manage incoming post, supplies and consumables.
  • Support contractor, key and access management where required.
  • Assist with facilities reporting and other reasonable site duties.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience within facilities management, workplace services, front-of-house or a similar customer-focused environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professional, proactive and approachable manner.

Desirable

  • Experience within a broadcasting, media or corporate environment.
  • Experience coordinating contractors or maintenance activities.
  • SIA licence.
  • IOSH, NEBOSH or another relevant Health & Safety qualification.
