About The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Regional Engineering Supervisor to lead and support multi-skilled engineering teams across the region.
You will be responsible for operational performance, technical standards, compliance, team development and customer relationships, ensuring services are delivered safely and in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and coordinate regional engineers across the GEO2 region.
- Ensure resources and skill sets are effectively deployed across sites.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Monitor planned and reactive maintenance performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex faults and critical incidents.
- Coach, mentor and develop engineers to improve performance and retention.
- Manage engineering rotas and on-call coverage.
- Audit workmanship, housekeeping and service quality.
- Manage and monitor subcontractor performance and safe systems of work.
- Ensure all PPM activities are completed within agreed timescales.
- Take ownership of statutory compliance, inspections, testing and certification.
- Undertake LV, CS and PS Authorised Person responsibilities where appointed.
- Promote a strong health, safety and compliance culture through audits and toolbox talks.
- Review operational data, identify trends and implement corrective action plans.
- Support continuous improvement across maintenance, scheduling and asset management.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and operational resilience.
- Produce performance and compliance reports for senior management.
- Ensure teams have the tools, training and support required to deliver a safe and effective service.
About You
You will be an experienced technical services professional with a strong background in hard services Facilities Management and building services engineering.
You will ideally have:
- At least 5 years' experience in Technical Services management or supervision.
- A relevant vocational qualification with equivalent experience, ie level 3 apprenticeship in engineering or an applicable trade.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems.
- Experience working with LV distribution systems, UPS and generators.
- Previous Authorised Person experience, or the ability to undertake the required training.
- Hold and maintain AP appointments once signed of by the AE.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Experience managing hard services operations and subcontractors.
- Good knowledge of asset lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance, health & safety and quality standards.
- Experience using CAFM, scheduling and auditing systems.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service, communication and report-writing skills.
