Responsibilities

  • Safely transfer passengers and travelling companions to and from the terminal and aircraft.
  • Provide physical assistance by lifting passengers into and out of aircraft seats using aids as appropriate.
  • Assist with passenger’s baggage as required.
  • Ensure boarding checks are completed in line with airline requirements.
  • Ensure vehicle checks are completed and recorded prior to usage.
  • Actively check that all seat belts are worn by all passengers and drivers.

Qualifications

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • Required to pass pre-employment screening, including 5 years of employee reference checking.
  • Valid UK Drivers Licence held for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels.
  • Previous experience within driving at an airport is desirable.
