About The Role

Morrisons Crime Hub is an award winning department looking for people to join our growing team.
Crime Analysts are responsible for collating and building investigations into prolific repeat offenders and organised criminal gangs targeting our clients sites.
Crime Analysts are required to support the police with ongoing investigations and work in partnership with our client on loss prevention matters.
The successful candidate will hold and maintain positive customer and supplier relationships, drive business growth, and strongly collaborate with national colleagues, central functions and the senior leadership team to deliver a positive, proactive and progressive environment.
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Build investigations into prolific offenders and organised crime groups targeting client sites.
- Assist client LP teams with incidents, concerns, and evidence.
- Support internal investigations when required.
- Provide intelligence and data to Crime Prevention Officers, Store Detectives, Regional Managers, and clients.
- Disseminate intelligence bulletins to frontline officers (deter not detain).
- Review, download and manage CCTV for all investigations.
- Supply police with intelligence, CCTV, and evidence.
- Assist stores with improving security measures.
- Work with client leads on ANPR, facial recognition and other crime prevention projects.
- Work jointly with the Control Room team when required.
- Promote safe working practices, maintain workspace cleanliness, ensure building security and visitor management.
- Create a professional working environment and complete tasks efficiently, following procedures and legislation.
- Implement action plans, monitor KPIs, and ensure improvements are sustained.
- Keep teams updated on operational changes and ensure adoption across sites.
Experience and Candidate Requirements
- SIA CCTV Licence - Essential
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and client engagement.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently.
- Accurate documentation and data management.
- Ability to prioritise and manage tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Understanding of disciplinaries, performance reviews, attendance, RTW and appraisals.
- Strong understanding of policing and crime related procedures.
- Proven background in investigative work.
- Ability to use new systems, CCTV platforms and intelligence tools (e. g., Auror).
- Can do attitude and ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment.
- Strong problem solving and operational thinking.
- Understanding of risk assessments and safe working practices.
