About The Role
As an Account Manager within Retail, you will play a crucial role as the liaison between our organisation and our clients. You will ensure we are providing excellent customer service and delivering works to the contract specifications. This role requires a full UK driving licence and will involve travel between our client sites across the UK so the role is itinerant with a base location of our Head office in Ipswich, Suffolk. The hours are flexible, 8 hours per day Monday to Friday but predominantly 9am to 5.30pm.
Your key responsibilities:
- Ensure that all works are delivered to the contract specifications/SLAs and provide technical and operational support to direct reports.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, relevant stakeholders, staff, and external bodies to aid business development and retention.
- Create and implement account plans to meet client objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues.
- Track account performance and provide updates to both clients and internal teams.
The ideal candidate:
- You will be a highly motivated, self-starter who can work autonomously and deliver against tight deadlines.
- You’ll enjoy working with data and delight in providing relevant and accurate reporting to support operational decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills including presentation and written report writing.
- You will have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT skills including MS Office 365 skills, particularly Excel.
