Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 8am - 4pm - flexibility required upon business needs and Business travel.
Role Purpose
To drive measurable sales uplift across Angel Hill Food Co. sites through disciplined promotional execution, strong merchandising standards, supplier-funded activation and structured point-of-sale training. The role owns the national promotions calendar and ensures that activity is commercially effective, operationally simple and consistently delivered across sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Activation
- Build and manage a structured annual promotions calendar aligned to sector trading patterns.
- Secure and coordinate supplier-funded activations and sponsorship agreements.
- Plan and deploy seasonal and tactical campaigns that drive incremental revenue.
- Ensure all promotional activity has clear commercial objectives and defined measurement criteria.
- Merchandising & Field Execution
- Visit sites to audit merchandising standards and point-of-sale execution.
- Implement clear visual standards for displays, promotional zones and impulse sales areas.
- Coach site teams on sales techniques, upselling and effective use of POS materials.
- Oversee production and distribution of POS kits to ensure timely, consistent deployment.
- Performance & Measurement
- Track and report sales uplift from each campaign and activation.
- Analyse product performance, average transaction value and conversion trends.
- Identify high-performing sites and replicate successful practices.
- Monitor supplier return on investment and promotional effectiveness.
- Promotion Process Optimisation
- Simplify and standardise the promotion planning process.
- Reduce labour input, duplication and operational complexity.
- Improve forecast accuracy and stock alignment to minimise waste.
- Create repeatable toolkits that allow sites to execute promotions with minimal overhead.
- KPIs & Performance Measures
- % uplift in sales from promotional activity.

Reports to: Director of Catering, Angel Hill Food Co. Works closely with: Site Managers, Operations Teams, Procurement and OCS Group Marketing for brand compliance and asset production support.
Profile
- Proven experience in retail merchandising, field activation or foodservice commercial roles.
- Strong understanding of impulse sales and consumer behaviour in catering environments.
- Comfortable analysing performance data and translating insight into action.
- Able to operate in site environments and influence frontline teams.
Success in the First 12 Months
- National promotion calendar embedded and operational.
