About The Role
37.5 hours to be worked across 5 days Mon-Fri.
As a Cleaning Team Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our client’s site. This role involves maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or equipment issues to the Facilities Manager for timely resolution, and training new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation. You will also ensure that the team follows all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
There is a vacancy for a working cleaning supervisor with approximately 15 hours dedicated to cleaning your own area and approximately 22.5 hours spent on supervisory duties including:
- Weekly stocktake at both sites
- Create weekly plan for cover cleaner and update daily as sickness etc requires
- Audit 5 cleaners per week including cleaning cupboards, uniform etc
- Creation and distribution of monthly ticksheets
- Collate data from previous month’s ticksheets, identify trends/patterns/problems
- Ensure COSHH folders are up to date
- Ensure all risk assessments are reviewed each year (remind management and participate in review; you are not required to carry out risk assessments yourself)
- Organise fortnightly staff meetings (book venues, create agenda)
- Maintain training records for cleaning staff
- Participate in recruitment of new cleaning staff
- Carry out training of new cleaning staff
- Contribute data/photos for KPIs/monthly reports
- Carry out monthly inspections of machinery and log books
- Compile uniform orders
