About the Role
Days of working: This is a relief cover role and shifts will be available across Monday - Friday 17:30pm - 21:30pm.
Main Responsibilities and Key Activities
- Come to the work area early.
- Follow the briefing at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Perform daily activity work that has been set according to the plotting area.
- Do periodic work in accordance with the job given by the Supervisor.
- Fill out the check list of the area that has been done.
- Follow the training that has been scheduled by the superior.
- Use PPE according to their needs.
- Follow the work rules that have been set by the company and clients.
- Report any obstacles encountered when working to superior.
- Inform any damage to the client's known building to the superior.
- Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, superiors or clients.
- Follow all instructions given by the superior.
- Follow regulations for occupational health, safety and environment (QHSE).
Communication and Collaboration
- Attend shift meetings set by your OCS Supervisor.
- Liaise with your OCS Supervisor to minimise deviations from the cleaning schedule.
- Promote new ideas for improvements.
- Perform any reasonable requests set by your OCS supervisor.
- Report any issues to OCS Supervisor providing as much detail as possible.
Quality and Efficiency
- Train other team members as needed.
- Monitor waste levels within the manufacturing area to minimise waste.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) requisites throughout all cleaning shifts.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Adhere to relevant health and safety requirements, including risk assessments, PPE, and manual handling guidelines.
- Follow COSHH guidelines regarding chemicals and cleaning agents.
- Report any potential health and safety issues promptly.
- Attend H&S required training courses.
Workplace Engagement
- Provide feedback, ideas and suggestions from the team on process improvements.
- Complete all training through the e-learning OCS Academy (online training platform) and site‑specific training ensuring this has been completed in a timely fashion.
