About The Role

Working Pattern

Within this role you will be responsible for the emptying of general waste and recycling bins on resort, ensuring that the park is looking presentable to our guests at all times.

You may also have to support litter picking and sweeping pathways on the resort.

You will be a team player and have a passion for providing excellent customer service to our guests who may ask for assistance or directions on the park.

  • Ensure off park bins are emptied on a regular basis.
  • Use of equipment such as compactors, balers, gators, jet washers, trailers.
  • Collection of bulk waste e. g., metal, wood, catering equipment, WEEE (Waste Electrical, Electronic Equipment), hazardous waste such as hydraulic oil, oily rags, aerosol cans etc.
  • Other tasks will be set as the business needs required within the Waste Management department.
  • You may be required to assist Site Presentations with general cleanliness by litter picking/ sweeping floors or emptying on park bins.
  • Maintain a professional impression of the department when dealing with guests.
  • Ensure all guests inquiries are dealt with to the satisfaction of the guest.
  • Ensure all training has been completed on relevant tasks before participating.
  • Follow the company values and health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure correct PPE is always worn when working.
  • Abide by COSHH regulations when handling any chemicals.
  • Ensure all waste and recycling bins are maintained throughout the day.
  • Contribute to the 3Rs of Waste Management Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
