About The Role:

Shift Pattern: 5 in 7

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work carried out is of high quality and meets the required legislative levels.
  • Provide timely communication to Technical Services Team Leader with regard to operational issues, ensuring the earliest possible resolution and appropriate support where required.
  • Planning activity to ensure projects undertaken are delivered on time.
  • Assists in aspects of building maintenance to ensure high standards of product availability, operational presentation and customer satisfaction.
  • Anticipates and focuses on the needs of customers as a priority (both internal and external) and acts to ensure they are met.
  • Operation of mechanical plant including but not limited to diggers, cherry pickers, Genie lift, chainsaws and petrol saws.
  • To ensure required documentation is completed in line with company guidelines (eg job sheet sign off).
  • To maximise ride capacity and throughput, continually striving to exceed targets in line with customer expectations.
  • Pro-actively supports other areas of the Technical Services department.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce future maintenance costs through choice of working methods or materials/equipment.
  • Ensure all resources are used efficiently in order to minimise costs.
  • Performing risk assessments for all activities.
  • Communicates to other team members, guests and other areas of the business with a positive style.
  • Attends team briefings actively contributing to any discussions.

Person Specification:

  • Experience within a relevant building/groundwork environment ie paving, tarmacing, fencing, bricklaying and drainage works.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures specific to industry preferable.
  • City & Guilds or NVQ level 2/3 within the building trade or qualified through experience.
  • Appropriate plant machinery licences eg. Genie, cherry picker, digger etc (Desirable).
  • Ability to work using own initiative displaying decision making skills without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Please note: This role will involve working mainly outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year and may involve working at heights.
