About The Role
Days of Working: WK1 Mon- 11am-7pm, Tue- 11am-7pm, Fri 9am-5pm - WK2- Mon, Weds, Thurs 11am-7pm.

Join our dedicated team as a General Catering Assistant at one of our esteemed NHS healthcare providers. As a General Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely preparation, delivery, and quality service of all food and beverages to our patients, clients, and guests. Responsibilities
- Ensure that patients and clients receive a prompt and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain contract health and safety, and hygiene standards and appropriate documentation following current legislation and company standards.
- Preparation of sandwiches, salads and beverages as required.
- Receive, check, sort and store supplier products as directed.
- Prepare food service area to the standard laid out by the management.
- Washing up, general tidying, removal of waste and used crockery/cutlery to be expected along with keeping the work area and kitchen to the highest cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Must have right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
- Food Hygiene Certificate and Health & Safety Training qualification – (desirable as training can be provided).
- Practical food handling experience, preferably from within a healthcare background.
- Willing and able to work shifts (including nights, weekdays, weekends, bank holidays) on any of the trust sites.
- Understanding of HACCP & COSHH.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
