About The Role
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Building Services Engineering Apprentices at our client sites. This 4-year apprenticeship program will provide you with comprehensive training in the maintenance and repair of essential building services systems across our prestigious sites.
Building Services Engineering is a specialist branch of engineering within the Facilities Management sector that makes buildings work effectively and efficiently. As an apprentice in this field, you will learn to plan and complete a variety of maintenance activities involving industrial and commercial building services engineering systems, including ventilation, heating, and water supply systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on building services systems
- Complete remedial and corrective repairs as required
- Monitor and manage plant and equipment operation using building and energy management systems
- Fault find, diagnose, repair, and maintain systems, components, and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, including repairs and replacements
- Ensure compliance with current industry standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, site managers, and other trades on site
- Work collaboratively with our experienced engineering teams
Work Environment
You will work at one of our clients' facilities, maintaining the complex building systems.
