About The Role
Days of Working: This position will be based at Felixstowe Road, Bristol, working either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, dependent on client needs. As a Housekeeper, you’ll be responsible for keeping all areas of the building spotless, including offices, communal spaces, stairwells, kitchens, and washrooms. You’ll make sure everything meets the required standards and stays that way. Part of your job will involve checking equipment, requesting stock, and following other processes to keep things running smoothly. During busy times, you’ll help out the catering team, which might include serving food and drinks or handling payments. It’s a varied role that keeps you on your toes!
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Lodgings and undertake a variety of household duties.
- Clean designated rooms daily, including corridors, bathrooms and toilets (dusting, mopping and vacuuming).
- Assist in the kitchen including emptying and loading dishwasher.
- Laying tables/ tea trays.
- Assist with laundry.
- Other basic cleaning duties e.g. cleaning of brass and silver.
- Be part of a domestic team.
- Undertake a variety of duties as instructed by the lodgings Manager or Housekeeper.
- Serve meals including assisting at dinner parties.
Qualifications
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
- Desirable to have experience in cleaning or be willing to learn.
- Must be customer-driven, able to work well in a team.
- Communication skills are key to ensure successful service delivery.
- Technology skills are beneficial as the role requires the use of mobile telephone and apps.
